Do you have to be a good swimmer to go scuba diving?
Im going to the Bahamas in 2 weeks and I really want to scuba dive, I need to reserve it ahead of time before it fills up so like today, but I am not the greatest swimmer. I can swim, its just not one of my favorite hobbies, I can swim a few laps but then I get tired and lets just say Im not the best swimmer but I can to save my life so will this be a problem?
For the sake of scubaing when you said you can swim a few laps before getting tired you are more then quilified to go scubaing. I mean its not like you will be working hard and you will have fins on which will help propel you through the water eaisier. I am lifeguard certified and we did a little excersive with all the scuba gear on and even the kids that couldnt swim for their lives did well. the scuba gear will have all the tools you need.
But let me say this, you will be in the best shape of your life when you see a shark comming at you lol

The TBM Avenger
This TBM avenger crashed in the water off San Diego Ca. in 270 foot of salt water. Its an impressive site. The engine is detatched and an actual torpedo lies on the ocean floor near by.

Scuba Diver Girls – fish, crabs, lobsters, and SHARKS – OH MY!
http://www.scubadivergirls.com/ The girls enjoy a day with some wonderful marine life on June 2, 2009. The water was clear and calm so the girls dove to the north-west of Alligator Head since there were no waves booming at boomers! Karma and Stephanie saw a shark! This was an excellent dive!

Scuba diving in Cozumel, Mexico
This was our first time scuba diving. We dove with Eagle Ray Divers in Cozumel, Mexico on April 19, 2007 and are probably among the few Hyderabadis to have tried it …and hopefully we’ll try to change that.
