This was our first time scuba diving. We dove with Eagle Ray Divers in Cozumel, Mexico on April 19, 2007 and are probably among the few Hyderabadis to have tried it …and hopefully we’ll try to change that. www.scubadivergirls.com Refugio State Beach is just North of Santa Barbara. You pay $8 per car to enter the beach and then parking is free and right in front of the dive site! You can see the kelp from the beach so it is easy to know where to kick out to…which is very close to shore. Once you drop down, you can enter the kelp forest and it gets pretty dark inside so flashlights are nice to have. The depth was only about 20-30 feet at all times.
